Four-Wheel alignment is an alignment service that restores factory specifications to the wheel angles across all four wheels. When wheels are aligned, the treads meet the road flatly, each wheel is pointed in the right direction, and opposing steering wheels turn parallel to each other. The benefits of four-wheel alignment include mitigation of rapid tread wear, smoother handling, pleasant driving experience, and reduced expenses for tire replacement over the life of a vehicle.

Four-wheel alignment includes a certified technician, computerized wheel alignment technology, and factory specifications for adjusting improper wheel angles. The technician will evaluate wheel angles – camber, caster & toe – adjusting them as needed to secure factory specifications. When Should You Perform Wheel Alignment?

Volkswagen does not set a specific wheel alignment interval for scheduling routine maintenance proactively. This is largely due to the difficulty in predicting when alignment is needed because a single significant event, such as hitting a large pothole or curb, can knock the alignment out. Other vehicles will experience misalignment due to worn steering components. We recommend having a vehicle’s alignment checked at routine intervals; if an inspection shows misalignment, the best response is to schedule four-wheel alignment to correct the problem.
