I just wanted to thank
Patrick and Keffer VW for such a seemless transaction! We literally
had just thought of "looking" at
a VW again after a 10 year absence. Patrick contacted us via email
and phone and he found what we were looking for. He took us for
a test drive and he delivered our vehicle the very next day. I
forgot how nice it was to own a VW...I hope I'll never forget again.
Thank you Keffer VW for a very memorable and easy car purchase!!
Cassandra,
Keith & Matigen ------------
I just wanted
to drop you a quick line about my recent visit to your dealership.
I drove down from Statesville on Saturday afternoon to look at
a couple of used VWs you had for sale which I am interested in.
Duane Gorman assisted my wife and I when we arrived. It was very
nice having someone helping us that had good product knowledge
and could answer our questions. This seems to be a rarity these
days at other dealerships. My son recently visited the Leith
VW dealership in Raleigh looking at a car for me and the sales
staff assisting him knew less about the car than he did. No so
at your dealership. I just wanted to commend you and your staff
on your professionalism and hope I can someday purchase a vehicle
at your dealership. I'm still in the decision process but hopefully
things will work out so I can do business with someone who clearly
understands the needs of their customers. It starts with a professional
and knowledgeable sales staff.
Thanks again,
Bob - Mooresville, NC

Dear David,
Thank You.
I want to express
my sincere appreciation to you and your support staff. In a perfect
automobile transaction, there would be very little contact between
a dealership and a customer after the sale, except for routine
maintenance.
We don't always have perfect situations, however, and it is the response to
the less-than-perfect that shows who people and companies are. Every person
whom I made contact (you, Dennis, Matthew, Jonathan, Alan and Scott) treated
me with professionalism, respect and compassion. I just wanted you to know
that it was recognized.
Please share
my heartfelt appreciation to your immediate staff, as well as
the entire Keffer organization. If Mr. Keffer's other dealerships
display the same commitment to customer satisfaction as yours
does, success is truly his.
Most Sincerely,
Mary

(below) about a recent problem with my VW.

Ms. Allgaier:
Thank you for your note about the problems with my Toureg and my
ultimate new purchase of a new Toureg. What you may not know is
that I have been owning and driving Volkswagens for about 40 years
continuously. I tried to count how many I have owned and I think
I have had around 15 or 16VW's. I even worked through the engine
alloy problem, VW had in 1968. I need to tell you about my experiences
with Keffer. Their service representative, Randy took me through
the repairs detail by detail and showed me everything with specifically
what did and did not work with the repair process. I did not tell
him, but in my much younger years, I was a VW and Porsche mechanic
so I followed everything he said. The explanation was complete
and it provided me with at least an explanation although not perfect
comfort that the problem may not be a bigger recall issue later.
I hope not for your sake, but it is very unusual. I am assuming
the block is heating to the point where the bolts are backing out
with the combination of heat expansion, vibration, and reverse
torque. I hope the fix, VW tech. support ultimately gave Keffer
will work for my car and well as others. When I talked with Keffer
Sales about the idea of trading up, they did every thing they could
although it was not a cheap trade. There is no question that this
process has cost me quite a bit of money especially since I work
by the hour and for all time lost, I loose quite a lot of money.
I probably lost around $ 2000 in lost wages. I felt like the deal
Keffer gave was as good as they reasonably could do. They were
professional throughout the whole process even with my accessory
requests.
I want to relay one thing about Keffer that I overheard one day
while being in the showroom. It was a sales meeting and the sales
manager was talking about customer service to the sales persons.
I will have to say that I have never heard such a more positive
and innovative talk to car sales folks ever. The sales manager's
discussion focused on how the sales force could not just react
to customers but anticipate customer's questions and needs, not
just let them look but ask probing questions to see what VW could
offer in way of solutions to their desires and practical needs
for an automobile.
He went on the provide examples and other ideas that were all customer
oriented. In short, all of these experiences have sold me on doing
business with Keffer. I wish the other dealers in Charlotte were
the same, but they have been the complete opposite, a very negative
experience for several years. I will drive the extra 35 miles although
it is a huge investment in time and costs me more money. This will
be my third purchase in just over a year at Keffer. I bought my
wife a new Passat for Christmas. The salesman, Patrick Willard,
went out of his way to help me "surprise" my wife. I
just wanted VW to know what a good partner they have with Keffer.
With Best Regards,
Steve
